I have the same problem. My son died. I am trying to access documents to finalize his business obligations. The drive is encrypted with BitLocker. I don't know the Recovery key. He sent me a text document with a BitLocker Recovery Key a while ago. But the Key ID doesn't match the on that comes up on his computer. As I understand, it won't work unless the Key ID matches. I tried anyway. No luck. Please help. Thank you.
