a fix for an update loop
most recent update wouldn't get past the restart circle on the lock screen, screen would go black after a few mins and when you moved the mouse or touched a key it would come back to the same restart circle on a black background. to make this shorter to a dev/mod looking at this. the screen saver was taking priority over the restart for the update. sitting there moving the mouse so the screensaver wouldn't start is the fix i worked out, but this is an issue that should be fixed, considering i'm writing this at 4 am after waking up from it

edit 2: it should be noted ctrl alt del didn't work to get me out of the black lock screen restart circle loop, only moving the mouse continuously while it updated worked, really felt like rocking a baby to sleep 0/10 for an auto update

Try please to check the Update Services and just deactivate them in Windows Safe Mode, so you can start your pc/notebook. If you want, you can also uninstall the preview installed Updates. So it maybe can help.
Here is explained how you can start safe mode from a blank or black screen:

Please let me know, if you still have the problem.
