Windows 10 Freezing After Latest Security Update
After the most recent Windows 10 security update, my computer started experiencing constant freezing issues. Before this update, the system was working normally without any performance problems.
The freezing happens during simple tasks, such as typing text, copying and pasting, or opening applications like Word and Chrome. When it occurs, the system becomes completely unresponsive for several seconds. Sometimes the entire interface freezes, and I have to wait for the system to respond again.
This behavior started immediately after the latest security update was installed. It feels as if the system is constantly struggling to process basic actions, which makes normal use of the computer very difficult.
Because of these freezes, even basic tasks such as writing documents or browsing the internet have become frustrating and unreliable. I suspect the issue may be related to the recent security update, since the problem did not exist before it was installed.
I would like to know if other users are experiencing the same issue after the latest Windows 10 security update, or if there are any known solutions or fixes available.

Choose Your Solution: Use 91% or 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Higher concentrations evaporate almost instantly and will not cause electrical shorts or corrosion as long as the board is fully dry before turning the PC back on.
Wipe Carefully: Lightly dampen a cotton swab (Q-tip) or a lint-free microfiber cloth with the alcohol. Gently scrub the sticky or corroded areas. Be careful not to snag or break off any of the tiny surface-mount resistors or capacitors.
Clean Ports and Slots: For hard-to-reach areas like PCIe slots or RAM DIMM slots, dampen the tip of a soft toothbrush in alcohol and gently scrub up and down inside the slot.
Never use standard tap water. Tap water is conductive and contains minerals that will corrode and permanently damage the circuitry.
Do not scrub aggressively. Motherboards feature tiny, delicate components that can easily be knocked off.
Let it dry completely. Never plug in or turn on your computer immediately after using alcohol. Wait at least 30-60 minutes to ensure every trace of alcohol has fully evaporated, particularly deep inside ports or beneath larger components.
Replacing thermal paste on your CPU is straightforward: power down your PC, remove the cooler, thoroughly clean both metal surfaces with high-percentage isopropyl alcohol, apply a fresh pea-sized dot (or X pattern) of paste, and reinstall the cooler.

Go to Task Scheduler. Task Schedule Library, Microsoft, Windows, PI, and disable Secure-Boot-Update, then reboot your PC. Apparently, a Windows Update to Secure Boot is the issue.

It appears that if you go to Task Scheduler, Task Schedule Library, Microsoft, Windows, PI, and disable the Secure-Boot-Update task, that will stop Windows 10 from freezing. You may have to reboot after disabling the task. Apparently, a Windows Update to secure boot is causing this issue.

Hello,
Suggest you to run System File Checker scan:
- Search for 'command prompt' using Cortana or Windows Search.
- From results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow command and press Enter key.
- Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.
If issue still persists, perform clean boot:
