How to update Windows 10 to 22H2 when your device is dual booted
I am trying to update a computer from Windows 10 (version 1709) to Windows 10 (version 22H2) but once the update is completed the computer restarts and it stays on the version 1709. I want to also mention that the computer is dual booted with Ubuntu. Has anyone come across this issue? How would I update the Windows OS without affecting the Ubuntu OS?

Download the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft. Currently, it is for 22H2. After that, start the in-place upgrade by running the setup.exe from the ISO file.

Thanks for sharing the issue, do you mean you are watching the whole update process and it goes all the way to 100% right?
How exactly did you do the update proess?
Thanks,

dann20 Hello! You've posted your question in the Tech Community Discussion space, which is intended for discussion around the Tech Community website itself, not product questions. I'm moving your question to the Windows 10 space - please post Windows 10 questions here in the future.

According to screen this laptop is running windows 10. How to find windows TEN version information - the computer automatically forwards to 11. Already have 11 on a stable fiber 120Mbit. Very stable connection. Could be boosted to 277Mbit if needed. However someone else pays the fiber bills. Router might burn and then there will be, well. Uhm. FIRE DRILL!
