upprinterinstaller.exe pop up windows

Hi everyone! we have just started deploying printers to intune clients using universal print. It works mostly fine, but after adding around 10 printers via policy, we see multiple upprinterinstaller.exe windows popping for a few minutes up each time the client synchronizes policy. Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution to this?

      Rachelle_Cheung You said you were aware of the issue in 2022, but the issue is still occurring and you linked to a Roadmap page which doesn't have any mention of this issue being tracked. Is this problem actually going to be solved?

        CameronGo We ended up going for https://www.myq-solution.com/en/myq-x which has a native https://docs.myq-solution.com/en/print-server/10.1/setting-up-universal-print-in-myq built in. Though we are thinking of swapping to https://www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.eu/en/products/software/kyocera-cloud-print-and-scan.html soon. Microsoft is very bad with Support on Printers. Figured I'd inform you.

      Rachelle_Cheung Any update on this fix? Configuring now and have been unable to find a solution other than Microsoft if aware of this.

      We just also deployed Universal Print and users are experiencing the same issues and is such a terrible experience where I can't understand Microsoft is offering it in this way. Any solution found yet?
