On my Surface Pro 12 inch Snapdragon X plus w/ sp2 i am having the same 'tailing' issue, in One Note for example the writing will be normal for a minute then all of a sudden start tailing. The issue is repeatable in paint and across the device. I have exhausted all possible fixes to no avail and it is imperative that Microsoft addresses this matter, issuing updates or refunds as this is unacceptable for a device which is meant to be the standard for digital note taking/drawing.
Given that the original post is from September and there is no official reply on this thread, I urge Microsoft to issue a statement or fix soon.
