Turn Off Phone Ring on Teams Calls

When connecting audio for a Teams meeting to a phone, sound of phone ringing can be heard by all users, causing disruption for everyone on the line. There has been widespread request for this feature to be disabled, especially on larger group conference calls. How can this be addressed?
