Request to merge multiple Microsoft Learn certification IDs
Hello Microsoft Learn Support Team,
I was advised by Pearson VUE and Microsoft Support to contact Microsoft Learn
to request merging of my certification profiles.
I have paid for the PL-900 exam, but the exam confirmation and status
are not visible due to multiple Microsoft Learn IDs.
The following Microsoft Learn IDs need to be merged:
- ms1100781607
- ms1100998551
- ms1100999029
Kindly help merge these IDs and associate my PL-900 exam correctly.
Thank you.

Hey dear,
First thing to try, the self-service merge.
Since you have three IDs (not two), you'd need to do this in two steps — merge the second into the first, then merge the third into the combined profile.
If self-service doesn't work (which happens when accounts have conflicting types), you'll need to go through the official certification support channel, this is the right place for exactly your situation:

One more tip: once your profiles are merged and PL-900 shows up correctly, add a personal Microsoft account to your primary profile as a backup login. That way you won't get split across multiple IDs again if you ever change work/school emails.
Good luck

Dear Julian,
I an having a similar issue, Pearson VUE created two different candidate IDs but tied to the same email. I am unable to retrieve one of my exam's results. I cannot contact the support: when trying to log in on the Engage Center platform, I am facing the following issue:

I am missing the az-104 results on my profile. I precise that the email address was the same for both exam registrations, so I don't know why Pearson VUE created two different candidate IDs.
Do you know how I could get some help?
Your advice would be really appreciated as I am in the middle of a ping-pong game between Pearson VUE saying my candidate IDs need to be merged by Microsoft and Microsoft that cannot provide me with a valid means to event create a support case.
Kind regards,
Alois

Your tenant has been deactivated so you need to resolve that Troubleshoot inaccessible tenants - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn
You could try to create a new tenant https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/create-new-tenant but if you want to restore your existing tenant then ask a question on Q&A Forum Questions - Microsoft Q&A mentioning AADSTS5000225 and a moderator will get in touch.
In the meantime, you can use a different email address to create an account on the engage hub (it does not need to be the same account as your Learn profile)

I actually submitted a ticket last month for merging two different personal MS Learn accounts, due to having certification completions on both. Here is the answer I got back:
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Credentials Support! We’re truly glad to assist you and appreciate your interest in keeping your learning achievements consolidated.
We understand that you’re looking to link one personal Learn Profile to another, and we’d like to share the best available solution to help you with this.
Due to system design, it’s not currently possible to merge two personal Learn profiles directly. However, there is a workaround that allows you to transfer your certification and training progress using a third Learn Profile associated with a school/work account.
Here’s how you can proceed:
- Log into your school/work account (Profile B) and add the personal profile from which you want to transfer your information (Profile A). This migrates your certification and training progress from A to B. Wait until the confirmation green banner is displayed.
- Now, remove your previous personal profile you just added (Profile A) (Settings > Login Account Management > Linked accounts > Remove). This separates the accounts, but the contents transfer remains intact.
- Log into your main, preferred Learn Profile (Profile C) and add Profile B. This transfers your certification and training progress from the work Learn Profile to your preferred Learn Profile.
- (Optional) If you wish, you can you remove your school/work account profile.
This method uses the school/work Learn Profile as a bridge to transfer content between personal accounts.
In case you are not part of an organization that can assign you a work or school account (AAD), you can create one by signing up for a Microsoft 365 free trial, as stated in the article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/service-admin-signing-up-for-power-bi-with-a-new-office-365-trial#sign-up-for-a-microsoft-365-trial
