Work this in Word online?

Hi,

I have created a workflow that pick up the information that the user insert in a list and create a word document containing that information and store it in a library. This library uses a word template that contains placeholders where the information from the list should be writen.

Whe I test the result I see that if I open the document in word online I only see the placeholders.

When I open the same document in the desktop version of word I can see that everything works fine.

Is there some limitation in Word online to show the decoument's placeholder filled with the information from the list?

I've used this guide to create the workflow: https://www.netwoven.com/2015/04/24/how-to-dynamically-create-and-populate-word-document-in-a-document-library-from-custom-list/

Best regards

Americo

      Thanks Vasil,

The link helped me to discover that is in the Reading view of the Word online where I can see the text from the list.
