Word Locked

Hello,

 

I have a small problem. I have been locked out of an document after Word Online crashed. When I try to open and edit the document it says that I can't edit this document with other people.

    Depends on how the lock was established. The short lock duration is 10 minutes, but there is another lock type of up to 10 hours.

    I have the same problem on a regular basis - even when I haven't experienced a crash.  I am often able to edit the document but am locked from deleting the doc or renaming the doc.  This occurs with no other users currently accessing the doc.

    That's odd, usually some kind of cache timeout or lock on file should eventually release in a short time. Is it still doing it?
