Why not have an optional left side navigation in communication site?

It could be an option with a disclaimer that ??? will not work or will have some side effect.
Users want options, not limitations.
ofergalinIsrael I agree with your points. But, these is how Microsoft have designed it and allowed left navigation only on team sites and not on communication sites.
