What's happening with Tasks?
We're hearing lots of new features for the Modern pages, but nothing about the Tasks app. Given that it's a tool for tracking projects, that's a pretty major feature being overlooked by MS.
Does anyone know if there's a plan for Tasks? The app is still available, but it's only in the Classic view.
Any insight would be much appreciated.

- Just guessing, but I'd say Microsoft Planner is where they want this type of stuff.

Soooo happy to hear that the Task list type has a future. Planner is a good tool, but it's just one of several valid project management methodologies, and doesn't accomplish some of the things the Task list can.
