Usage of Content Type Hub
Does anyone use Content Type Hub anymore? I have used it before (on-premise) so I know the pros/cons and now testing it within SharePoint Online. Have tested it both on “classic” and new “modern” Tea...

Could I ask if you also use the hub for distribution of CT with custom document templates? The Reason for asking: It works fine if we upload the template directly to CT but if we use an URL to template this will fail during usage of the distributed CT. I have posted a question about that here.

Nopes. We don't use doc templates, as we don't generally have a requirement for that. The only time we needed templates was for a particular site in a document set. For that we didn't use the CTHub, as it made sense to keep it localised for that site. Can't say about your URL problem though.
