URL to create new document base on the default document type - modern library SPO

Hi there, does anyone know how to get the URL that will create a new document in a modern library based on the default content type?  My customer requests a button on the home page rather than the user navigating to the document library.

    If the Document Library is in the same Site as the Homepage then the easiest way to do this is to use the Document Library webpart and embed it on the Homepage. Then your customer can click on "New" in the webpart. (OK, it is not a button but it is OOTB-functionality :-) ).
