Uploading File Populates Numeric Field Incorrectly?

I have a Document Library created to store files which, when uploaded, triggers a flow in Power Automate.  After uploading the file, the user is required to input a value in a numeric field for that line item, which the flow captures and performs subsequent actions based on the value.

This used to work correctly, but now, all of the sudden, when a new file is uploaded, the numeric field defaults to "1", which the flow errantly grabs and does incorrect actions.

I ensured the default value setting for this field is empty, yet it's still automatically being updated to "1" upon upload.

Any ideas?
