Unused Webpart zones still showing up at the bottom of the web page.

Hi All,

I have a web part page and wanted to know how I can make the unused WebPart rows at the bottom of the web page disappear. Even though I am not using three web part locations at the bottom of the webpart page they are still showing as  blank rows at the bottom of the web page. This dosent happen when viewing the web page using MS Edge browser, but does happen when you view the web part page using the Firefox or Chrome browsers.

1. Blank webpart zones at the bottom of the web part page. These three web part rows are not used.

2. The MS Edge browser stops at the last webpart. You cannot scroll down any further

3. Chrome and Firefox browsers. You can still scroll down past the last webpart. These are the three blank webpart rows.

The SharePoint environment is located Online (Office 365).

I hope you can help,
Colin

  • You cannot modify WebParts pages layouts in SPO and not sure if the problem is due to the page itself or to the WebParts you are adding there. What you could do is use a Wiki page instead

      Hi Juan,

The problem was with code within a content editor web part. I'm also using a Wiki web page instead.

      Thanks
