Unable to Share lists with External Users

Hi all,

 

I have a subsite in a site collection that does not allow me to share its lists with external users.

 

I receive the following error when I try:

 

Your organization's policies don't allow you to share with these users. Go to External Sharing in the Office 365 admin center to enable it.

 

The site collection has external sharing enabled and I am able to share the site, libraries and files with external users on the same subsite.

 

I am also able to share lists externally on other subsites within the same site collection.

 

Very strange, anyone got any ideas?

    Very strange since there is not a granular setting that allows you to configure how to share a list or document library....if you are able to share content on other lists and libraries in the site, you should no see this problem...any particularity in that list?

      Hi Juan,

       

      Thanks for the reply, it's really strange.  I am able to share libraries with externals, just not any of the lists available on the site.
