Unable to Save SharePoint Online site as template
Since this morning, I'm experiencing issues when trying to save a SharePoint online site(s) as template. Publishing features never turned-on on these sites. Also, tried using a new site in a newly created site collection and no luck. Tried saving as template from SP designer 2013, but no luck.
Did Microsoft push any new updates that affected this change? Anyone in this community facing the same issue? I would appreciate of any help. Thanks!
- By the way, if possible, avoid the "Save as template" feature in SPO...I know still works, but there are other ways to get a template from a site such as the PnP provisioning schema that are the official recommendation Today

This afternoon, everything seems to be working fine without me resolving it. That's strange and surprising!
ellan1537 you will have to run Set-SPOsite <SiteURL> -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 0 which you want to save as a template. Please see more information here.
