Unable to edit or open Workflows

I have exactly the same problem.

I deleted the caches as indicated in many other posts,

deinstall and reinstall Sharpoint Designer 2013,

tried to install the updates, but they aren't available anymore...

and still get the very same problem

Hi, I also have encountered the same issue.
Have you found a fix for it yet?

  Unfortunately, not.
  But someone said in a forum that editing the workflows is no problem when using Sharepoint Designer 2013 on Windows 7.
  Fortunately I still has a PC on Win 7 and indeed, it works !
