Unable to display Playlist view on SharePoint Site Page

I have created a Playlist using the list template and saved it to a SharePoint site. I have uploaded my videos. I now want to create a page that has the Playlist view along with other things like text, buttons and pictures. 

Unfortunately, when I pick the list webpart and select my Playlist list, the Playlist view just shows as if it is open in grid view and does NOT display in the great way that the Playlist displays in the list.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this just a miss by Microsoft and someone is working on a fix?
