Unable to copy links

I am having an issue with the new modern libraries-if I configure a view that is grouping documents then I am unable to use the "copy link" feature. Every time I click copy link from either the top menu or the documents menu the list seem to refresh and the link goes away.

This is not a problem if I use a view with a flat structure.

 

Does anyone have an idea what I can do? We use the Group by feature heavily in my organization.

    Can you send us a snapshot of what you see? I have a document library with 2 layers of grouping and I don't experience this, would like to see if there's anything visibly different in your setup.

        Sorry the delay in responding. I figured out that the problem had to do with they way I migrated the files (I'm not sure the specifics). Somehow the document IDs got screwed up and were including links back to the old site. It only happened in one specific site so I'm guessing I did something differently. I just remigrated things and everything worked.
