Two global navigation bars?
On the top of any page, I have the top navigation (Using Managed Navigation). But there is also another navigation bar directly below this one (which add a link for 'help') on some of the subsites, libraries, lists, etc. I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out where this is coming from and how to get rid of this. Can anyone help me, please?
“EDIT LINKS” option in the header is often the culprit for the unexpected second navigation bar.
- Go to the Affected Site: where the extra navigation bar appears.
- Navigate to Site Settings
- At the top of the page, you’ll see “EDIT LINKS”
- Click it.
- Remove any unwanted links
When you create a subsite, especially using classic templates, SharePoint often adds a local top link bar by default.
