Spudgun If you have admin rights go to https://admin.microsoft.com/#/reportsUsage .
Select sharepoint > Site Usage > Sites > Export
Select onedrive > Files > Export

this gives the total number of sites:
Report Refresh Date, Site Type,Total,Active,Report,Date,Report Period
Select onedrive > Files > Export
