Stop user access to a Site, but still allow to send data to a list
Hi,
I think I know the answer but just need clarification.
I have a site that contains a number of lists. These lists are populated by users submitting a form via a PowerApp and Flows moving data.
Currently the I have the usual three groups (Owners, Members & Visitors).
I don't want visitors seeing the site contents list but still need them to be able to send data.
If I remove the contents of the Site Visitor
But keep 'Everyone except external users' in the 286467 Visitor group
Would this do the job?? I think it will!!
But the reason I'm asking is there is unique permissions involved..
Would this still work???
Chris_Clark1968 you'll just need to break inheritance permissions and give your users only Contribute access to the the lists so they can add/update/delete items but nothing else.

Thank you for your reply...
Contribute still allows 'View'??
The list above seems to differ to the definitions of the permissions in the attached link??SharePoint Permissions - A Comprehensive Guide! - SharePoint Diary
So is contribute still the best level to provide to enable users to write, submit data to a list but not allow them to see the data if they search for the file name or access the site contents??
