Stop inheriting permissions for a library
If I stop inheriting permission for a library will it then keep the previously inherited permissions, or will I have to clear all permissions and start again. I would rather just edit the inherited ...
It will stay the same until you start changing them. When you break the inheritance, the inherited access groups will remain for the library. If you for example do not want the visitors-group to have access then you have to remove the visitors-group from the library (but without deleting the group from the top level :-) )
