SPO File or folder sharing with external user with Gmail account - limitations
Hi
a few questions on SPO external sharing of files/folders - When shared to a Gmail account it will need to use one time security code to login to the shared files/folders which is working fine. But if we setup and alert to that folder (e.g. summary alert at 4.30PM) , gmail user never get alerts. Is there a limitation like that?

- I think this is expected because sharing a file or folder does not mean the user you share the file or folder with is actually a user in the site, so I believe that's the reason why alerts are not being sent to the external user
