SP List approval email broken, works in teams
I received an email from an employee saying that their ability to respond to SP list item approval requests through email randomly stopped working and they get the below error message:
"The remote endpoint returned an error (HTTP '403'). Please try again later."
They're still able to do approvals through Teams, but they prefer to go through email.

The Teams Approval connector is re-associated in SharePoint List Settings > Workflow Settings and the alternate mail server configuration is checked by an administrator running Set-SPAlternateURL -InternalURL <URL> -Zone Default.
