Do you use managed metadata for column values?
How do you translate column descriptions for contributors? I've tried custom forms (but not to the extent of looking for the user's language setting - is this available?) and my users don't have Power Automate licences so they can't access them.

with default form, you can add a description in every language. User can see the column names and descrition in there language:
