show file/folder thumbnail not working in SharePoint library

Hello forum, 

Is anybody facing issues in the gallery view of a document library view that the option "show file/folder thumbnail not working in SharePoint library" is not working and if enabled the view is grayed out and if we disable them the view is back ?
