Short description for the document library

We are using office 365 SharePoint. In our Docment library we need to add the short description for this library. Is it possible to add under document library heading.

Jeyganesh  that is not possible by design but you can do have it through 2 different alternatives.

1 - using the Low code no code option creating a power app and having a customized look as per the requirement.

2 - using the text and documents web parts in a Sharepoint page where the text web part is used to put any text/tile or even whole message while the documents library web part is used to show a specific folder or document library in a SharePoint page.

any of both alternatives can be pin a tab in Microsoft Teams as well.

PDostiyar on your answer 2, you don't need to use both the text and the documents web part as you can do it with just the documents web part as I showed in my previous post.

Jeyganesh no that isn't possible. But what you could do is to add the document library web part onto a page on your site (so everyone uses the library from the page) and you can type/copy&paste the description in there:
