SharePoint/Excel - This content presents a potential security issue. Do you trust this content?
micheleariis, we started having the same problem today. This fixed it for me:
Control Panel > Internet Options > Security Tab > Trusted Sites > Click Sites > Enter https://mycompanyname.sharepoint.com with mycompanyname being whatever your sharepoint subdomain is. Mine had mycompanyname-files.shaepoint.com and mycompanyname-myfiles.sharepoint.com but not the normal one. That fixed it for me.
We are also facing the same issue and not resolved so far
Waiting for Microsoft team to work urgently on the fix
- I opened an Excel sheet, clicked on "file", "account", "update options" and then "update now". After I restarted the computer it worked. Not sure if this is the "professional" way, but it worked for me.
Didn't consider the manual update option... Haven't heard back from the users I know this affects yet, but did send out an e-mail with the instruction to facilitate the manual update, just to make sure the update is applied, and to get back to me post-update with the results.
