When Publishing features are activated, also navigation management is changed and you can check navigation settings on Site Settings -> Navigation. Global Navigation settings affects to top nav bar.
Where is the "/" link pointing to?

Mattin is correct...I guess the "/" is pointing to the home page in the site...Might I ask the reason why you enabled publishing feature in the modern site? Curious to know the requirements to do that
- Fatim1008Jan 20, 2019Copper ContributorHi Juan,
Thanks for your response.
Correct the "/" is pointing to the home page.
I enabled publishing feature to be able to add CSS.- Jan 21, 2019Well,
Do you mean to add CSS in the navigation configuration? I have not tried this, by I think in modern this is not going to work so you don't need to enable the publishing feature only for that...in modern SPO if you want to customize site navigation you need to build a SPFx Extension or wait until the megamenu arrives to your tenant- Fatim1008Jan 22, 2019Copper ContributorThanks so much Juan.
By clicking on Managed Navigation using term set I can get rid of "/"
Now I'm planning to set up a mega menu but I don't know why it does not appear on my website.
I followed the step of the link below: how to set up a mega menu in Sharepoint 2013
https://support.bindtuning.com/hc/en-us/articles/204448019-How-to-set-up-Mega-menu-in-SharePoint-2013-and-Office-365-v2013-
Do you know why ?
I have a full control as an admin but all my changes don't appear
Many thanks
Fatim
