Sharepoint site usage

I am working on a project that is looking to clean up some SharePoint sites/groups on our tenant . We want to view the usage of each site on our tenant to determine which sites are popular and which sites aren't being used any more. I know that you can create a report for the usage of an individual site, but there are too many sites on the tenant for this to be the route.

 

Is there a way to aggregate this information or do we have to look at each site individually?

    Adam...at the tenant level have you looked at the Reports -> Usage -> SharePoint Site Usage?  It will list the site, files storage etc.  Even better is export the results and load it into Power BI so you can focus on what you need to clean up.

      Thanks! This information is really helpful! Is there a way to get other sites that are categorized like domain.sharepoint.com/HR/? The instructions you've provided only show SharePoint sites that have the url of domain.sharepoint/sites/. This get's us most of our sharepoint content, we'd just like to see if we can find the stats of the rest.
