SharePoint Permissions Affected by 5000 list view threshold
SharePoint Online. I read somewhere where not only is performance affected by exceeding the 5000 list/library view threshold, but also, permissions are as well. I'm aware of exceeding the number of permissions will be blocked to prevent performance degradation, but are permissions?

- You have probably read about the recommendation in the number of unique permissions in a list or document library that is 5000....you can go up to 50000, but as you well mention the performance could be degraded
