SharePoint Online sites vs. Sites in Exported CSV File
When I go into the SharePoint Online Admin Center, our SharePoint Site Collections in Managed Site Collections (17 Site collections)
BUT when we go into new Admin Center (preview) and click on Site Management, it shows 171. It is a lot more than we expected.
What is going on here?

Classic SPO Admin Center lists only the classic site collections. The new Modern SPO Admin Center lists all site collections including O365 Group connected ones.
- Quite simple answer here:
(1) The old SPO Admin Center just displays any classic site collection you have created in your tenant, but it does not display any modern team site or communication site you have in your SPO tenant....when I say modern team site, I'm referring to any SPO Site created from the SPO Home Page or when a Group / Team was created. The SPO Admin Center does not show Office 365 Video channels either.
(2) The new SPO Admin Center displays all the sites you have in your SPO tenant: classic SPO Site, Communication Sites, modern Team sites, Office 365 Video Channels
