Jan 19, 2018SharePoint Online search Authoritative Web Pages
Can someone please tell me where the "Most authoritative pages" list comes from? I had a site owner ask me to help him move his site to the top of the search results, and I was going to add his site to this list. But when I look at the list of sites there, it looks like it's possibly ALL of our sites in that list. I'm certain that no one is adding them, so somehow the sites must've been added automatically.
- You can manage authoritative pages in SPO by following the steps documented here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/manage-authoritative-pages-68429de6-7c7b-455c-a90a-2afaa3444647

Yes I know that, that's how I found out that it looks like ALL of our sites are currently on that Authoritative Web Pages list. I'm just wondering how all those sites were added to the list, because I know that no one added them. Which means it must be happening automatically somehow, when a new site is created.
- Correct, SPO search engine add automatically every new site created to the most authoritative pages section and this is something you cannot modify
