Sharepoint Online 'Move To': Why is it so bad?

I'm trying to move a large bunch of folders and files from one library to another using the Move To option but nothing ever works.

Constantly failing, throwing up errors about files not found, being unable to merge a move when it failed half way through. The list goes on. My folder are in a total mess now. If you can't make functionality safe and reliable, why put it in?

You would have thought by now they would have come up with a solution that doesn't involve downloading the whole lot via Onedrive, just to upload it again to the same blinking app in a slightly different place.

So frustrated.

Anyway, do I really have to setup Onedrive to do this reliably and safely or is there another way?
