SharePoint online folder Modified date older than Created

Hi, I've got a situation where an specific folder shows the Modified date older than the Created date. Does anyone know why and how would this happen?

 

 

Unfortunately we didn't have Audit logs enabled for this site, which has made it harder for us to identify which user has modified/created the folder and when (at least to help somehow with the investigation).

 

Any information would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi, there is a way to update modified date via scripts, please check with any developers have made any changes.

    That's strange...do you have by chance content within the folder with that modified date? It's the only possible explanation that can come to my mind
