Hi, I know that we can pretty much upload different type of files to Sharepoint online. But what are the file types that can be launched from a Sharepoint online library? Is it just Microsoft Of...
Hi,
I mean to open the file in the client application.For example, when we open a word file in Sharepoint, Word application launches. Does this only happen for applications under the Office suite? Or should all Microsoft applications be launched if we click the associated file in sharepoint?
Now I understand and you can expect that only Office documents (bear in mind the document library has to be configured to open files in client application as default setting) and maybe PDF ones to be opened in the client desktop apps
