SharePoint Online File Editor Won't Save Changes
It appears the text editor for editing files in SharePoint Online broke overnight. I can no longer save any changes made to the files. I can edit the file, but clicking the Save link does nothing. I've tested this on 3 tenants on 2 different browsers and had confirmation from someone else that it's broken for them as well.

rfletcherThere's a chance that Nobody at MS knows this is happening. Has anyone submitted a Service Request about it? Perhaps all of us should do so...

we are working on fixing this behavior and it should be good very soon. I will circle back once its done.
I'm also having issues again. The save button is missing on the text editor in some tenants, but not all.

The error in the browser console is:
Failed to construct 'Worker': Script at 'https://spoprod-a.akamaihd.net/files/odsp-next-prod_2019-09-06-sts_20190917.001/monaco-editor/vs/base/worker/workerMain.js#css' cannot be accessed from origin 'https://[mytenant].sharepoint.com'.
Something wrong with the CDN, perhaps?

Did this situation ever resolve for you because the same thing happened to me today while I was working in SharePoint Online. It worked 1 minute and it was gone the next right in the middle of the day.

A fix is being deployed and should be fixed in the very near future

Thanks for reporting, Mark Rackley. We've confirmed repro (seems to be an issue w/ text editor control only in SharePoint; works fine in ODB). The engineering team is investigating and will get a fix out as soon as possible.

Hello!
I was wondering if there is anywhere I can follow to discover when this will be fixed so I can update my team.
Thank you!

Andy McMaster, Mark Rackley - a fix has already been identified and checked-in (should go in next week's build and be out in PROD soon thereafter). Thanks!
- J. LanCopper ContributorSame for me today. In fact, none of the items on that ribbon function (Share, download, etc). What's up!

Same here :(
This is by far one of the coolest new features; too bad to see it broken...
