SharePoint Online - Slow Response

We seem to experiencing more and more days and periods where our Microsoft365/SharePoint Online environment response times are too slow and unacceptable. In Sydney (Australia) this seems to be common in many business I have spoken to, where in mid-afternoon SharePoint seems to slow for a period of about 1 - 2 hours! I would be interested if anyone else has similar issues.
