SharePoint Online - Large file upload from Custom List Form with enhanced rich text field
- DeletedJan 05, 2018List file uploads are limited to 250MB. Although your linking to another library I believe it still uses the same upload mechanic. Try something around 200 and see if it works. Go over 250 and if it fails you’ll know that’s it.

Hello Christopher,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
I understand the limitations that we have around the List attachments 250 MB. But, I am unable to get convinced with the internal upload mechanism that we see now :(
Even i tried with adding the enhanced rich text field to the document library metadata. But, i see the same issue here.
Is there any other way that i can approach to this issue so that i can achieve the solution without any customization.
Thanks & Regards,
Bhanu
- DeletedJan 05, 2018What is the requirement just to attach large files or rich text and files? Or are you only using that to try and attach files?
I’d recommend using PowerApps form that might handle attachments differently?- bhanu chinthaJan 08, 2018Iron Contributor
Hello Christopher,
Sorry for the late reply.
My requirement is to post an article with custom metadata and provide the option to user for attaching large documents related to the given metadata.
I think attachments are not yet supported in PowerApps. Can you please let me know how to handle this scenario in PowerApps.
Thanks & Regards,
Bhanu
- DeletedJan 08, 2018Yeah your right, I saw attachment stuff was released for SharePoint Powerapps but it was reading attachments only not uploading, most recent info I could find was saying they are hoping this launches next month.
