SharePoint New Menu missing in modern experience
Hi all
I have accidentally removed the New Menu option from SharePoint by unticking all the available files in the list under Edit Menu. I was planning to add a group of template files and remove the other file types. I clicked OK before adding the template files and now the New Menu option won't display. I can't find where to modify the menu items.
When you first open the SharePoint page new appears for about a second and disappears again.

You had me stumped for a little while.
Go to library settings -> Advanced - > Content Types -> Allow management of content types?
Change to Yes.
Go to library settings again, you can now add back in content types.
