Hello! In my eyes a content type is a like formula and it is usually related with the right list or library. The links content type is related to the links list app. So i guess that’s why you can’t see one of your docs in SharePoint. Hope that helps, Greets, Eva

Thanks for the response. In past versions I might have agreed. But the content type in question comes OOB with document libraries now (at least in modern SPO). A client might 'expect' it to work in the mobile app as well. And if not, why didn't I, the tech consultant, advise? It's not a show stopper for the client, but I prefer to give them a straight answer about why it does not work. Especially since we've been tripped up by a few other off-the-wall issues such as SP calendars 'connect to outlook' being unavailable with outlook for mac.
