SharePoint Mobile App (iOS and Android) won't open 'link' content types from a document library
I know this question is old, but because there is no answer nor solution I try to give you workaround what we found out! We had the same problem. We used link to PDF in SharePoint menu, which did not work on mibile APP.
So we found PDF in SharePoint mobile APP (we wend to documents and clicekd on PDF we needed), then we shared this PDF by phone to Teams, or wherever you want to, so you can grab a link on desktop to use it. Take this link and put it in menu - result is, that this link works on desktop and SharePoint mobile Apps!
Links to mobile PDF looks like this:
https://xxxxx.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/yoursitename/EdmgKe9X_nVArei1DtizTMEBjcCI_X17XE8Oe1360LG0vA
Hope it will help you, or whoever will need solution for this horrible error 🙂
Cheers 😉

Hi Joel Duinkerke ,
Sorry I am not here very often 🙂 Get your link right from SharePoint. Just right click on PDF and then Share it to people who already has access to it. You will get the link which will work for your PDF.
I hope it helps.
