SharePoint Migration Tool V2 help
I've started a migration using the SharePoint Migration Tool V2. The migration runs for a while, then stops with an error stating "Cannot create package file due to file is locked. (ErrorCode: 0x20...
There are some files are checked out or opened by the users . See if the all the files are checked in and try again.
I checked the "Manage files which have no checked in version" setting, but it shows no files are currently checked out. No users are currently using this document library, so I imagine this is accurate.
As I was unable to get any further using the SPMT, I decided to go a different route. Using One Drive for Business, I synced the library and then added the files. During this procedure, I identified several files which would not sync due to the filename beginning with a leading space. I wonder if this was causing the SharePoint Migration Tool to hang on these files. In any case, the files have been migrated to SharePoint.
