SharePoint Migration and Document Quick Parts
Hi all, I am currently migrating 2 site collections from on premises SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online. There is a business requirement that all documents have the SharePoint Version number embedded into the footer of the Documents.
This is currently done using a custom column (Current Version) in the document libraries that mirrors the SharePoint System Version number column. A quick part is added to the Content Type Document Templates that gets the value of the "Current Version" column.
When migrating to SharePoint Online the Quick Parts do not work as there is a different unique identifier.
Does anyone know of a workaround here or has has experience in this before?

Does anyone know of an alternative migration approach that WILL support quick parts?
Were you able to find a solution for this? Im in a similar situation now
