SharePoint MEMBERS group should have CONTRIBUTE permission level instead of EDIT
Am I the only one who thinks it is really bad idea to assign EDIT permission level to MEMBERS group? I do not understand what is the reason behind to allow other users to e.g. delete whole docum...
Totally agree. I don't think members regularly creates/deletes lists or libraries and if it was the case, there will be more chances that it would not follow the business IA architecture rules. I've seen people delete the site pages library by mistake... It was 911 panic 🙂 But honestly I don't think they will change this. So training & governance is mandatory.
