SharePoint Lists - Bad optional access / Invalid argument numericid
Hi community, one of our SharePoint users have a problem since a few days with editing, deleting and displaying list items in SharePoint lists. The user receives the following error messages:
- The user receives an error message when deleting records (Error Code: Bad optional access). The error message does not occur for all list items. Some elements the user can delete, other elements generate the error message.
- When editing elements, the user receives an error message (Error Code: Invalid argument numericid); again, but not for all elements.
- No new records are displayed to the user
The problem occurs only with this certain user.
The user has already deleted the cookies and cache of his browser. If he uses the private mode of his browser, these problems do not appear.
Does anyone know this problem and has a solution?
- MR_NivekCopper ContributorWe are experiencing this issue and it started happening today. I do not have a fix or solution yet.
- JoeColdCopper ContributorWhatever it was - it just started working again. Turns out another user was deleting information out successfully, but the sharepoint list did not update for others. When another item was updated, it refreshed the list and made the changes. Anyone else see the same thing?
- IgnasRICopper ContributorSame problem to me. Anybody got a solution?

I'm experiencing the same issue with one of my lists which has over 20000 records. The older records prior to Jun 24th do not have any issue. I see the same error with any newer items.
Anyone found any resolutions yet?
- Mannings1Copper ContributorWe are also experiencing this issue and hoping for a resolution soon as it's greatly impacting our efficiency

We are also experiencing this issue. I am currently unable to open or edit new records in our lists.
As a workaround I can use a Power App to do it but it's not a permanent solution.- KevinVBTCopper ContributorApparently Power Apps are not a suitable workaround either if you're using Lookup columns as the Lookup doesn't get updated if you add a new record into that.
- manueltgomesCopper ContributorHi everyone. I have a client that is reporting these issues as well. Was anyone able to understand what happened? Also, is there anyone else that is having this issue?
I appreciate any help you can provide. - M-Dub208Copper ContributorIs this list syncing? You might have users stop the sync as a trial - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/edit-lists-offline-41403c3e-1795-4e07-b56b-ae591cbde2f9 also ensure your ODB sync client is on the newest build.
M-Dub208 interesting this issue started at my end now as well. not synced only populated via the graph. I can view but not edit items.

Modifico mis listas, se actualizan y luego no reflejan los cambios realizados.
Luego nuevamente se visualizan los cambios.
Alguien a encontrado la solución?
