SharePoint List Lookup column new Item not visible on the drop-down menu
I am using SharePoint in Microsoft 365 where several Lists are connected together to form a master list for team requests tracker.
One of the SP lists contain a list of Resource Names which is connected to the master list via a lookup column. Now when I am adding new item to the source list then that is not appearing onto the master list dropdown menu on the new item form.
After several attempts and investigation, I noticed that the new item has the ID with odd number way higher than the other existing list of items as shown in the screenshot below (last item). Any idea how to get rid of this odd sequence, I believe this is the reason that new item is not visible in the master list under the lookup column drop-down. Although this can be fixed if I create a new list and attach that to a new lookup column, but I will have to transfer all the values from the old column to this new column on the master list which I am trying to avoid here by trying to find other ways to fix this issue.
Also noticed further on this above list is that the new Item property "Content Type" is blank as compared to the rest where they got the value "Item".

I agree with you, but I waited for around 4-5 hrs. to see the change, but it doesn't change, and the scenario is different for other list or if I create a new list same data from this above list then it works fine and immediately, I notice a new incremental ID without such odd prefix.
Bigger concern is that the new Item is not visible in the corresponding lookup column in the connected list.
I can get around with this if I create a new list from the above data and add the new item which shows up into the lookup column if I connect it to the new list, but I will lose the saved content from the old lookup column (which connects to the old list) on the master list.
